I would say my favorite Japanese car is not one of the myriad Skyline or Supra street cars- it’s this heavily modified racing machine in an iconic oil livery.
I am incredibly satisfied that this model has both extensive detailing and a clean silhouette. It technically borrows a few parts from my very old Supra design, but the core has been remade from the ground up, and solidly. It’s my only model besides my F50GT that features 0.5 stud lower bodywork to give it a properly aggressive stance.
This model features extensive race car details, such as a big wing, diffuser, roll cage and lower bodywork, as well as a brick built replica of the Castrol livery. This model features a fully modeled interior and does not fit minifigures.
My instructions are designed to be clear and enjoyable to follow, with intricate sections shown in detail.
My models are designed with techniques more delicate than official LEGO, and thus are more detailed but may lead to frustration if used as toys. This model is pretty sturdy.
This model consists of 363 parts, costing $40-$50.
